Undoubtedly Japan will always come to every backpacker’s mind when we say the world’s best places to visit in the spring season. “Cherry Blossom Season” is synonymous with Spring seasoning which exhibits to see major trees, streets, temples and roofs turn pink and white color to enthusiastic visitors.

Choose cities like Kyoto, Tokyo and Osaka and its streets (its trees) turn a pink and white color often called a sakura in full bloom that creates magical atmospheres for visitors to see and take perfect photos with their family. Try to be part of the hanami festival or flower viewing where tourists can make gorgeous dining with locals to share some beautiful moments under blossoming trees.

One of the beautiful islands in Indonesia, spring typically brings mild weather and comfortable temperature ranging from 25℃ to 30℃, helps backpackers to make their first beach loungings and take some friendly hiking’s.

Choose to hike at Mount Rinjani or Lombok’s towering volcano where hikers are blessed to see colorful flowering blooming, lush green rice fields and great photo spots. However, spring is an ideal season to spend some time with local waterfalls like Tiu Kelep and Sendang Gile, both are cascading waterfalls where waters flow amidst beautiful rainforest.

Spring allows enthusiastic backpackers and leisure walkers too. Skagit Valley has numerous hiking trails, but The Cascade Trail is a more popular one which offers 22.5 miles beautiful trails. It passes through vast areas of meadows and valleys. However, Radar State Park and Rockport State Park are the rest of the most with hiking trails which pass through unique wildflowers and plants. Don’t miss out to watch bird species like eagles, trumpeter swans, Canada geese or waterfowl while walking its trails.

Don’t miss to discover local markets and buy fresh products. Since spring is ideal, local farmers grow their stuff and sell it at roadside and local markets. In Lisbon spring starts from March to June, days between these months include more pleasant weather conditions and clear blue skies, making it the perfect season to fulfil most of your things here. Temperature ranges from 12℃ to 25℃ with plenty of sunshines.

If you’re looking what are the things a traveller can expect while he steps into the land of Lisbon. Don’t worry, start your day from the Botanical Garden in Ajuda. The garden is tremendously ancient, but it is home to the oldest dragon trees, fern hothouse, fountains and some beautiful flowers which are really great to see during spring.

Walking in Belém is my most favourite thing to do in Lisbon during the spring season. Perfect destination to understand majority of Portuguese century old buildings, architectures and museums, exhibits deep historic and cultural legacy of the country. Try to cover Belém Tower, Pastéis de Belém e Mosteiro dos Jerónimos. The neighbourhood contains some of the beautiful pastry shops and world class monuments, don’t miss to visit.

Continue your walking along Tagus River to see the city’s Cristo Rei and Padrao dos Desconrimentos monument or enjoy epic views of the city bridge. If you’re an art lover or looking for more ancient stuff, then don’t miss the New Museum of Art and Centro Cultural de Belém Museum.
