1. Port Louis
Capital City of Mauritius, Port Louis is a vibrant hub of both cultural and historical charm. City was founded by the famous French Governor Bertrand Francois Mahe de Labourdonnais in 1735. City includes many attractions like Aapravasi Ghat, Blue Penny Museum, Place D’Armes and colourful central market, where you can spot local crafts, spices and local street foods. Under Port Louis, Aapravasi Ghat is a more popular landmark, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site which exhibits the island’s history as a former indentured labour site.
2. Chamarel Seven Colored Earth
It is a unique geological formation in Mauritius formed around thousands years ago. Such mesmerising natural wonder includes seven colour sand dunes such as red, blue, brown, violet, green, yellow and purple. Coloured earth provides unique opportunities to discover millions of history, geology, education and conservations. Visitors can take panoramic views from the nearby Chamarel viewpoints and area’s stunning landscapes along with visiting Chamarel Waterfalls.
3. Mauritius Grand Basin
Often known as “Ganga Talao” considered as the most holy and sacred lake to the Hindu pilgrimage site in Mauritius island.
