1. Hike the Hoh Rain Forest
Hoh rain forest witnessing annual rainfall of 140 to 170 inches, which is full of green and lush with mosses and ferns in every tree and surfaces. Considered as one of the largest temperate rainforests in the U.S, home to the many towering trees and vibrant mosses. Hurricane ridge is located 17 miles south of Port Angeles and one of the easiest mountain areas to see and explore panoramic views of the Olympic mountain rangers. During summer, temperature may vary from 10 to 20℃, when the coast and higher elevations. Annual rainfall in this area goes to 100 to 170 inches. Remember there is massive rainfall that would occur atop the mountain in the form of snow. Yearly Hurricane ridge records 30 to 35 feet of snow a year.
